Secure Hardware when Vacations

In order for Hardware is not flammable, if you have a building and installed a lightning rod who already have a good ground, does not mean it's safe from lightning attacks. Secured from lightning strikes your building only while your relationship to the outside such as PLN, Telkom, Antenna TV or other antennas are not shielded from lightning attacks.
Because when there is lightning attacks across the network were damaged electronic equipment due to lightning from grid in which all devices connected to the grid even if no damage is turned on.  

To prevent lightning strikes from grid you need to do the following  :
Unplug all power plugs from the plug both monitors, printers, CPUs, scanners, modems, speakers and tools you use and connected to the PLN. Remember, you can be struck by an electric tool, although not in turn.

To prevent lightning strikes from the Telkom network you need to do the following  :
 

Disconnect the analog modem connection / DSL / ISDN from the phone line.

To prevent lightning strikes from the network Network / PLN you need to do the following:

Unplug the connection to your network, either coax or RJ 45 or the other. For the LAN that runs for 24 hours, it's good to consider providing protection from lightning on your appliance. Unplug all connections to antenna TV or radio if the computer you are using a TV Tuner.
