There are different types of BIOS program. Here we convey the types of BIOS along with the instructions.
A. AWARD BIOS type 1, Button to enter BIOS : DELETE, Detection Harddisk: On the MAIN menu appears the detected disk type (auto detection)
Priority Reading Media CD-ROM :
1. Press the RIGHT ARROW button and select the option BOOT
2. Press the DOWN ARROW button and select the option ATAPI CD-ROM
3. Press the + button until the position of stars.
Saves BIOS settings: 1. Press the F10 key. 2. Press the Y. 3. Then ENTER
B. AWARD BIOS type 2, Button to enter BIOS: DELETE, Detection Harddisk:
1. Press the ARROW and select the option IDE HDD AUTO DETECTION
2. Wait until the computer displays HARDDISK
3. Press the Y button to activate the hard drive is then ENTER (do 4 times)
Priority Reading Media CD-ROM:
1. Press the ARROW and select the option BIOS FEATURES SETUP press ENTER
2. Press the ARROW and select the option to change the BOOT SEQUENCE CD-ROM, C, D using the PAGE UP / PAGE DOWN
3. Press ESC to return to the BIOS main menu
Saves BIOS settings : 1. Press the F10 key. 2. Press the Y. 3. Then ENTER.
C. PHOENIX BIOS, Button to enter BIOS: DELETE / F2, Detection Harddisk:
1. Press the TAB key and then select the IDE option Detect
2. Then ENTER (it will appear HARDDISK and CD-ROM)
3. ENTER again to close the menu
Priority Reading Media CD-ROM:
1. Press the ARROW keys then press ENTER select option ADVANCE
2. Press the ARROW and select the option and then ENTER FIRST BOOT
3. Replace use ARROW up / down into the CD-ROM and then ENTER
4. Press ESC to return to the BIOS main menu
Saves BIOS settings: 1. From the BIOS main menu press the ESC key. 2. Select the option SAVE SETTINGS & EXIT. 3. Then ENTER.
D. AMI BIOS, Button to enter BIOS: DELETE / F2, Detection Harddisk:
1. Select STANDARD CMOS SETUP ENTER
2. Select Disk position (Primary Master, Primary Slave, Secondary Master, Secondary Slave) and then ENTER
3. Shown information about the Hard Drive
Priority Reading Media CD-ROM:
1. Choose the ADVANCED SETUP ENTER
2. Select 1st BOOT DEVICE
3. Replace the CD-ROM using the PAGE UP / PAGE DOWN
4. Press ESC to the Main menu
Saves BIOS settings: 1. Press the F10 key. 2. Press the Y. 3. Then ENTER
Note:
To enter the BIOS, in addition to the DELETE button is also used the F2 key depending on the request of the BIOS is concerned.
